Gatorland Band Camps are designed to offer student musicians the ability to experience the beautiful University of Florida campus, its facilities, and get to know the wind and percussion faculty while participating in exciting music learning experiences.

 

Camp provides an excellent opportunity for musicians with a minimum of one year of study on their chosen instrument to improve their individual performance skills while participating in:

Full Band Rehearsals

Instrument Specific Masterclasses

Chamber Music

Jazz Improvisation

Music Elective Classes (Theory, Piano, Rhythm, etc.)

Leadership and Drum Major Training

Optional Private Lessons

*All under the guidance of the professional faculty, staff, and distinguished alumni of the University of Florida.

 

 

 

Total Musicianship Band Camp
June 21-27, 2026
For students entering grades 7-12 with at least one

year of classroom experience on their instrument.
 

This Years' Total Musicianship Band Camp will offer middle and high school musicians opportunities in full-band rehearsals, chamber music, leadership classes,  improvisation, elective classes in addition to two days of in-depth study on their specific instrument with University of Florida Wind and Percussion Faculty! Masterclasses will focus on instrument specific techniques, warm-up and practice exercises, and preparing for all-state auditions. Students also have the option to take private lessons from the faculty, as well.

Campers will be separated by age groups for all ensembles and activities.

Resident Camper (Housing + 3 meals daily): $895

Commuter (Lunch Daily): $595
